Account Manager

What you’ll do:

  • Ownership of GP Target set by the Sales Manager
  • Close alignment with CDW departments
  • Responsible for managing and growing a book of clients
  • Building new business relationships using existing industry contacts
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
  • Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
  • Work in alignment with relevant Vendors & Partners
  • Cold calling potential customers and selling the company’s products
  • Researching the target market and finding companies to target
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales
  • Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the sales manager
  • Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale
  • Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers
  • Following up with past CDW customers and cross selling products
  • Following up on leads generated by other departments/Vendors
  • Investigating and resolving queries from customers

What you need to succeed:

Must-have:

  • Previous experience in IT Reseller Sales and display an attitude that is key to success
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Highly self-motivated
