Main Purpose of


  • Responsible for all aspects of the Returns process including but not limited to those mentioned below.
  • To receive and process all returned items
  • Ensure that all Stock received is correctly labelled with CDW part number and then placed in an appropriate Location.
  • For all Customer orders, carry out the final Quality check of the order to ensure the Products and quantities are correct. 
  • Ensure all orders leaving the NDC are adequately packaged for Transportation
  • Logging receipt of all returns on spreadsheets and systematically
  • Creating vendor returns and shipping
  • To liaise with Customer Services, Config, Warehouse and Inventory regards stock movements
  • To liaise with Transport when required for specialist deliveries
  • Clear communication of all queries to relevant parties
  • Processing of failed deliveries
  • Oversee collections / deliveries
  • Communicate disposal details
  • Returns stock check
  • Process the Returns mailbox within agreed SLA’s
  • Problem resolution and escalation where appropriate
  • Continuously implement and follow Company processes and procedures to ensure that a high level of quality and accuracy is maintained at all times. Escalate any difficulties experienced with these procedures to the attention of your line manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all NDC security procedures. Bring any non-conforming actions or observations to the attention of the NDC Management team or any security personnel.
  • In Line with the Business needs, flexibility maybe required on working hours and area of work, including support of other departments



Knowledge &



    Strong Microsoft Office skills including: Excel and Outlook
    Business management skills with a total commitment to the highest levels of customer service by helping managing performance KPIs, reducing waste and delivering measurable targets within the returns function.
    Must possess a proactive approach to problem solving at root cause, with a can do attitude
    Team player experienced in all aspects of general warehousing
    Experience in investigation and remediation of issues and the failure of processes, the priority being the customer’s expectations.




Customer and sales facing with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately 


Ability to ensure that the Health and Safety and housekeeping standards are kept to the highest possible level at all times.
