You will join the CDW Sales Academy, which is designed to equip you with everything you need to become successful. The program will accelerate your confidence in the role and support you on your journey to being an established Sales Account Manager.

 

Successful candidates will be coached by a dedicated Academy Sales Manager, whilst being afforded the independence to bring their own approach and personality to the sales cycle. In addition, structured Sales and IT training will be provided over the 12–15-month program, culminating in a professional qualification.

 

Following graduation from the academy you will move into one of the CDW sales teams. Introductions to the destination team will happen during the training program.

 

What you’ll do:

  • You will be given an initial book of trading customers to get started, to grow and develop
  • Research potential customers to shape and build new business
  • Grow new business through effective communication methods including cold calling, customer meetings and email marketing
  • Work towards KPI's through developing market understanding, building relationships and networking
  • Provide effective account management to support your customers technology strategy, implementation, and future requirements
  • Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams, and external partners to help develop a rich customer experience
  • Generate and capitalise on sales leads
  • Establish and re-establish account relationships
  • Create and deliver quotes to clients
  • Conduct face to face client meetings and client demonstrations
  • Autonomously manage and grow your own accounts to establish continued revenue streams
  • Build and maintain high customer experience level through regular meetings
  • Oversee complex projects and requirements from customer base
  • Manage renewal business for software and services agreements
  • Strengthen manufacturer relationships through proactive engagement
  • Uncover ways to make existing business more profitable
  • Enter more complex quotes and orders as needed
  • Drive e-commerce efficiencies with all clients
  • Manage delivery of trend analysis and customer reporting
  • Prospect new contacts on accounts

    What you need to succeed

    Must-have:
  • Strong communication, problem solving, organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Educated to A Level including Math’s & English grade C or above

 

Nice to have:

  • Have a passion for sales, be keen to learn and develop sales skillset
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial flare and desire to build client base from scratch
  • Motivated self-starter and enthusiasm to learn and develop knowledge of new and emerging technologies
  • Ability to build solid relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
