What you’ll do:

  • Support the Commercial teams through defining data insights that deliver against tactical and strategic initiatives across the teams
  • Produce periodic reporting to visualise the performance against key KPI’s and suggested actions for improvement to ensure that the teams deliver against targets
  • Responsible for accurately owning, updating and progressing CDW’s operational and commercial reporting through Power BI Dashboards, Excel and other toolsets
  • Identify ways of formalising and standardising reporting to ensure risks and opportunities can be communicated to and actioned by members of CDW’s Management team
  • Provide commercial reports periodically to be shared up to Exec level within CDW and our Partners. I.e. monthly performance packs, QBR documents, exec briefing packs
  • Identify and raise any operational challenges, opportunities identified for increased accuracy, efficiencies, standardisation and rationalisation linked to supplier data and commercial performance through to the owner within the Commercial team and or other relevant teams within the business
  • Identifying of new KPI’s and metrics that can better measure team and organisational success
  • Engage through Supplier Managers and core business functions  across the Sales and Operation teams collating partner feedback to be shared constructively with our partners
  • To standardise, formalise and report on supplier performance and risk compliance audits, working with stakeholders to manage outcomes for adherence to corporate policy and governance adherence
  • Manage processes to ensure commercial risks are communicated and actioned internally and externally
  • To support the commercial team during tenders, being one of the key analytical leads
  • Actively participate in all analytics, automation and compliance projects within the team, meeting strict deadlines and delivering a resolution that provides a productivity or commercial ROI
  • Responsible for supporting International entities on replicating UK based commercial and operational procedures and governance
  • Support activities related to vendor master data creation and ongoing management
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and improving process and procedure documents and cross-training peers on all relevant processes
  • Providing updates on project actions, owners and deadlines
  • Whilst there are core deliverables within the role, there is an underlying requirement for the analyst to be aware of the ever-evolving business requirements and identify development areas that are of high importance to the success of a growing business in a fast-paced market
  • Liaising extensively with a range of company departments both within CDW and with our partners up to and including management; notably but not limited to sales, purchasing, finance and warehouse
  • Deliver against any other tasks that management may request of them
  • Being part of a team that fosters collaboration and process efficiencies


What you need to succeed:


  • Experience in same/similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
  • Data analysis experience
  • Experience in managing multiple projects to strict deadlines
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff
  • Strong analytical skills
  • An understanding of project management methodologies
  • Good commercial acumen
