We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Systems Transformation team which focuses on driving the modernisation of the non-ERP/CRM technology that powers our business. This is a wide-ranging and varied portfolio including HR Systems, Contractor Management, Subscription Billing, ServiceNow, RPA and much more.

In this role you will act as a driver for change by driving the use of technology to support and improve the way we operate. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand and capture requirements, develop a backlog of features, re-engineer processes, and help drive the development and implementation of new solutions.

You will be responsible for managing your own diary and hours so how any given week ends up looking will be up to you.

What you’ll do:
  • Stakeholder Management in the U.K. – Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and use these to drive requirements gathering, prioritise development, support change management and capture feedback.
  • US/Canada Engagement - Work closely with the US/Canada teams where necessary to understand cross over of requirements or understanding best practices and how they can be leveraged in the UK.
  • Waterfall & Agile working - A good understanding of both Waterfall & Agile methodologies. Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Ability to help the team decide the best approach. Ability to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP).
  • Strategy - Help define and manage the product development roadmap.
  • Business Analysis – Ability to investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing services. Provide recommendations to solutions. Work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits available.
  • Process Mapping and Re-engineering - Analyse current services and processes and can identify and implement opportunities to optimise these through process mapping and process re-engineering.
  • Backlog Management – Own and drive the backlog of features including, analysis, prioritisation, business case creation and implementation planning.
  • Systems Integration – Work closely with architects TDA’s and engineers to define integration requirements.
  • Data – Work with the Data team where necessary to develop data/reporting requirements.
  • Team Growth – Support the continued growth of the team by assisting junior members in mentoring, shadowing, peer reviews and by providing feedback.
  • Accreditation – Attain and maintain the appropriate level of relevant accreditations

What You Need To Succeed:
Must-Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analysis or Product Owner role.
  • Experience championing scrum and Agile principles within the team.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops to capture functional and non-functional requirements and User Stories.
  • Facilitating the development of future state processes taking business requirements and future growth into account; working with teams to identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Conducting workshops to create process maps using Visio.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into a roadmap, a product backlog, epics and user stories earmarked for development sprints.
  • Evaluate and prioritise the stories and requirements in the backlog, considering the impact on upstream and downstream components.
  • A demonstrable track record of getting stuff done whilst managing competing pressures and deadlines and retaining an eye for detail and quality.
  • A passion for technology and its ability to have a positive impact on business.

Nice to have:
  • Experience with DevOps, Asana, MS Teams
  • Experience with RPA: AA, UiPath or Blue Prism
  • Experience of B2B Supply chain
