With revenues of over £1bn, the UK-based arm of CDW is a leading supplier of IT solutions and services to a broad range of commercial and public sector customers outside of North America.

We are looking for an individual to own and drive our Microsoft business within the UK partner management team as CDW continues to grow its market relevance and serve our customers.  Focus on the customer and business outcomes is critical to the success of this role.

The Senior Partner Manager is responsible for maintaining internal and external relationships and executing strategies to support the business growth. 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Define the Microsoft business plans and GTM strategies to support business growth, in line with global counterparts
  • Work closely with executive stakeholders to develop new markets and strategies to drive business growth, including managed and professional services portfolio
  • Work closely with technical and sales to create upsell opportunities in new/existing markets to drive revenue and profitability, including partner investment plans
  • Act as a market expert across the Microsoft portfolio and programs, and provide expertise knowledge internally across different business units using an outcome-based approach
  • Drive the commercial outcome for CDW with our account managers/directors through deal management, customer engagement and following through deals to closure
  • Mentor and support internal resources to develop cloud and Microsoft knowledge, as well as defining the cloud GTM and enabling others to execute the strategy
  • Evangelise CDW’s capabilities to customer base. Differentiating us through our productised services, consulting capability, cloud services and managed services
  • Work closely with CDW and Microsoft management/AMs to forecast accurate closure of strategic deals
  • Define and lead Microsoft marketing initiatives to promote go to markets, including positioning CDW internally at Microsoft as a key partner, and capturing incremental investment where possible to increase the bottom line
  • Maintain full compliance with Microsoft across all geographies you are responsible for, and onboard new regions as required
  • UK and International travel will be required (approximately 30%) including customer-facing engagements

 

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Good market knowledge and understanding of trends that impact organisational strategy
  • Experience of defining and driving strategic business and marketing campaigns
  • Communicating and building senior to executive relationships
  • Have meaningful understanding of Microsoft technologies, procurement options (licensing programs such as EA, MPSA, CSP) and Microsoft partner programs
  • Have broad understanding of public cloud and modern workspace technologies, and the business issues that they address
  • Proficient commercial acumen and understanding impact of business outcomes
