CDW has successfully developed numerous packaged managed services brand in conjunction with our entry onto multiple vendors collaborative service programmes. These services are packaged services with defined outputs and Service Level agreements that provide flexibility and value to our clients.  In addition, new products are being identified and packaged under the Managed Services brand in line with customer requirements and our services business growth. Key to our ability to scale and deliver services to clients is the introduction of additional BDMs focused on driving the Managed Services packaged services that are adjacent to our Solution Architect design and implementation capabilities. These services are defined in terms of sales opportunity, collateral and process, solution/service scope and pricing. Aligned to our international sales team the successful applicant will be expected to assist in identifying and executing a business development strategy across our international business. Working with the International sales leadership team the successful applicant will help define the target strategy to drive international Services focus and growth.

What you’ll do:
  • Pipeline capture and reporting – ensure this is done internally & externally and provided to the relevant groups within CDW. Ensure opportunity sharing/information flow between SA’s Sales Management, Finance and delivery teams
  • Business Plan – Own a target and the responsibility of the mix of services and customers to achieve it
  • Internal Collaboration – maximise and leverage CDW’s investment in Services. Ensure all departments work closely to achieve overall objectives
  • Internal Selling - internal engagement and marketing of Support Services products to the sales force & management team increasing Support Services spend in there designated sales teams
  • Client engagement - driving and evangelising CDW Managed Services capabilities to customer base. Differentiating CDW through its packaged services and tailored services to fit client requirements
  • New Revenue Streams - assist with the design and creation of new Services
  • Service Design – Consultant and liaise with the client to use standard services where applicable and tailored services where required

What you need to succeed:
  • Field sales experience at selling services, into the Enterprise and SME markets
  • Understanding of value-added reseller environment beneficial
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of the importance of accurate reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be well presented and a confident communicator at all levels
  • PC literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with fast & accurate keyboard skills
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Must have a logical thought process and the ability to get things done
  • Experience working in a commercial environment preferred
  • Contribute additional value, ability to think laterally
  • Must be good working under pressure to tight time scales
  • Must have a high level of consistency and accuracy in data keying and documentation production
  • You must be a strong communicator able to prioritise and escalate urgent matters both in your own workload and via third-party suppliers

Nice to have: 
  • Knowledge of managed services, systems and toolsets
