What you’ll do:

  • Monitor Health & Safety within the environment and their workplace.
  • Responsible for ensuring a team within the NDC are at all times, working in a cost effective manner and leading a team on a day to day basis
  • Responsible for ensuring the warehouse processes at all times, provide the best efficiency and accuracy possible and that are continuously reviewed and followed
  • Management and amendments of coworker timesheets on a daily basis to ensure the team are all working in line with set target
  • Ensuring that the department and team are continuously developed and promoted in line with the company’s vision for the future
  • Working closely with other areas to ensure cross functionality and a strong working relationship
  • Completing regular 1 to 1’s with the team
  • Revisit all training within set time frame to ensure process is being followed and full understanding is confirmed
  • Work to continuously identify areas for develop improvements to systems and processes related to subject area reducing waste and increasing productivity
  • Understand the needs and requirements of your department within the NDC
  • Communicate all relevant and purposeful information throughout the business as required
  • Support the development the NDC processes so they are proactive, efficient and scalable
  • Support and cover for absence and holiday for supervisory roles
  • Develop existing and new KPI’s to accurately measure the throughput of area
  • Ensure the team adhere to published SLA agreement and develop the SLA as appropriate in line with company requirements
  • To be continuously aware of the company health and safety policies including environmental, and to drive and deliver them at all times
  • Investigate and remedy issues when processes fail using analytical skills and strategic thinking Multi-functional team player experienced in all aspects of warehousing and logistics
  • Responsible for the leadership, training and development of the teams
  • Ensure daily processes and procedures are followed to ensure smooth, efficient and safe operatin
  • Ensure daily routines are followed and adhered to, to maintain an exceptional high level of house keeping
  • Display excellent customer focus
  • Delivering excellent customer service to all key stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Taking ownership of personal development
