As a Manager, Renewals - Managed Services you'll lead a team of Renewals Specialists and Renewals Administrators. The Manager, Renewals will manage the day-to-day running of the Renewals team and perform management duties. The right candidate must have sufficient knowledge of the renewals processes, cost models and systems. The successful applicant must have skills for excellent timekeeping and juggling many tasks at once. It is imperative the candidate is confident in holding meetings and presenting to senior management. This person will be the main contact for escalations and assistance from renewals specialists as well as sales and internal/external stakeholders. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills are imperative for this role. The role will involve hiring when required and new team member training.

This role includes developing relationships with internal business areas and suppliers. You must be a confident communicator at all levels and work well as part of a wider team.  Attention to detail and familiarity with vendor tools and systems is critical for this role.

The position will report to the Head of Managed Services Sales but will have relationships with sales, business development, contracts, service management and service transition departments.
  • Ownership of team target
  • Effective sales planning and coaching
  • Maintain, manage and grow spend in targeted renewals
  • Work with New Business team to help identify and cross-sell services into the renewal base
  • Can communicate multi-service streams to end-user clients
  • Working with the services Principal’s to ensure metrics meet the required standard
  • Dealing with sub-contractors and 3rd parties
  • On-going administration of existing and renewal of contracts
  • General administration responsibilities to support sales and business development departments
  • Assist with report generation, renewal notifications and pipeline management for associated services
  • Establishing and developing peer to peer relationships within key vendors
  • Understanding of cost models across all services
  • Feedback on any operational issues that are preventing the continued growth and improvement of associated services.
  • Management of contract/quotation queries
  • Provide feedback and openly embrace the future introduction of any additional vendors or services that are closely associated with existing activity
What You Need To Succeed
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales support position
  • 3+ years working in the technology industry
  • 1+ years of leadership or coaching, development experience
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment while functioning well under pressure
  • Proven ability to think strategically, analyze information, plan, prioritize and execute
