ISO Compliance Manager

As a key member of the international Ethics & Compliance team, this role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining CDW’s ISO frameworks, ensuring ongoing compliance with international standards and best practices. Key priorities will include monitoring regulatory developments, identifying areas for improvement, and providing practical compliance guidance across the businesses sites around the UK (London, Peterborough, Rugby, Manchester)

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in audit preparation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen CDW’s compliance programme

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of the organisation’s ISO frameworks, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and continued certification.

  • Develop and implement efficient processes for managing external audits.

  • Transition core ISO activities to new business owners and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct regular assessments and internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards.

  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure key controls and compliance tests are documented and effective.

  • Lead external audit preparations, including coordinating teams, scheduling, and liaising with auditors.

  • Identify gaps in compliance and oversee corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with key business functions to implement and monitor improvement initiatives.

  • Provide support to the Senior Compliance Manager on a range of compliance-related tasks.

Essential Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years in a compliance role, with hands-on experience managing ISO audits for multinational organisations.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and best practices, particularly in ISO audits and ensuring compliance within a multinational environment.

  • Ability to work autonomously and provide practical, actionable compliance guidance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead workshops and engage diverse stakeholders.

  • Sharp analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying gaps, resolving ambiguities, and implementing practical solutions.

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

  • High level of professional integrity, discretion, and commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive and accountable approach to responsibilities.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience with ISO 22301 and 50001 standards.

  • Proficiency in technology and software related to compliance management.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to conduct internal audits, root-cause analysis, and develop clear reports.
