JOB SUMMARY
This is an Executive Assistant role providing comprehensive support to the Vice President of Sales & Solutions, with a dotted reporting line to the Senior Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, CDW UK and International for delegation of tasks relating to the broader Senior Leadership Team and other key strategic projects.
The Executive Assistant will act as a central point of coordination for the VP of Sales & Solutions and their leadership, facilitating administrative support, calendar management, and strategic initiatives, ensuring the highest level of organisation and efficiency.

What we’re looking for
We are seeking a highly organised and pro-active Executive Assistant to provide top-tier support to the Vice President of Sales and Solutions. This pivotal role will ensure the seamless coordination of their daily schedules, priorities, and strategic initiatives, enabling them to focus on high-impact work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support
Accountable for the efficient running of VP’s diary, directing schedules in accordance with the strategic priorities of their function and applying smart scheduling principles.
Responsible for expenses management; including submissions and management of approvals.
Responsible for meeting coordination – creating agendas, clarifying roles of attendees, attending as required and tracking actions.
Manage VP’s travel including establishing visit objectives, creating agenda, scheduling of meetings, coordination of activities, travel, and hospitality bookings.
General administrative activities, including completion of compliance activities (mandatory training, functional policy, and process updates), leader performance activities (submission of performance reviews, talent assessments)
Content creation and preparation of presentations, reports and talking points in All Hands, Town Halls, and other events.
Event management for department All Hands, Executive visits, and functional events
Assisting the leaders, as requested, and prioritized, in management and leadership activities including providing Workday reports and key metrics, coordinating data collection for business review content.
Working with the executive assistants across the business in support of wider company initiatives and events, e.g. town halls, and overall coordination of meetings across multiple time zones.
Involvement in ad-hoc projects, as required by the leaders, and collaborating with the executive assistants across the business.
Occasional wider function support as needed.
Coordinate and organise internal and external meetings, team town halls, customer engagements, and off-site events.
Assist the Senior Executive Assistant to the Managing Director with the coordination of Senior Leadership Meetings, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
Diary Management & Coordination
Proactively manage the VP's diary, ensuring effective time management by scheduling and prioritising meetings and engagements across the team.
Collaborate with other EAs to align schedules across leadership and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination.
Strategic Contribution
Partner with the Senior Executive Assistant to the Managing Director to support the preparation and execution of Senior Leadership Meetings, strategic reviews, and presentations.
Navigate and interpret board meeting minutes, translating key actions into business processes and ensuring follow-up on deliverables.
Administrative Support
Organise and prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and newsletters for internal and external audiences.
Manage sensitive and confidential information, ensuring secure handling and appropriate distribution.
Oversee travel arrangements, expense reports, and room/venue bookings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently and within policy guidelines.
Event and Project Management
Collaborate across teams to plan and execute workshops, events, and conferences, making proactive suggestions to enhance their success.
Provide ad-hoc project management support as required, facilitating CDW-wide initiatives and ensuring timely delivery.
Team Collaboration
Foster effective working relationships across CDW teams, acting as a key liaison between Sales and Solutions leadership and other departments.
Support the Head of EA in maintaining smooth operations within the senior leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in an Executive Assistant role supporting senior level management and their teams, ideally in a global matrixed organisation.
Strong prioritisation and project management skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and think ahead.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.
Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail and quality.
