Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderbad

Experience: 8+ years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with over 8 years of expertise in ServiceNow platform development, integrations, and various modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Discovery, and IT Operations Management (ITOM). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs and optimize IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• ServiceNow Platform Development: Lead the design, customization, and implementation of applications within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• ServiceNow Integrations: Develop, manage, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant protocols.
• IT Service Management (ITSM): Implement and enhance ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management, to streamline IT service processes.
• Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Manage and maintain the CMDB, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on IT assets, configurations, and relationships.
• Discovery: Oversee the implementation and optimization of the ServiceNow Discovery module to automatically identify and populate the CMDB with accurate data on IT assets and services.
• IT Operations Management (ITOM): Customize and maintain ITOM modules, including Event Management, Orchestration, and Cloud Management, to enhance IT operations and service availability.
• Best Practices & Standards: Ensure all solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
• Mentorship: Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, ensuring the team’s overall success and quality of deliverables.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform development and administration.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
