Job Summary:

This position aids sales operations by ensuring the accurate creation and distribution of Bills of Materials (BoMs) from various vendors. The usual tasks involve verifying gathered data for accuracy, crafting BoMs according to customer specifications, and disseminating them to pertinent individuals within Confidential. Additionally, there may be occasions where BoMs need peer review or identification for cross-selling opportunities, necessitating handover to another team for management. All tasks are coordinated internally via a CRM system, with maintaining its currency and precision being integral responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies – Proficiency in one or more of the following technology domains: Hybrid Platforms (including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, networking, and cloud), Modern Workspace, and Security. Tasked with collaborating with Confidential's Sales teams and clients to assess opportunities, comprehend requirements, and delineate suitable solutions.
  • Commercial awareness – The role necessitates comprehending the financial implications of proposed solutions and aiding Confidential's sales teams in selecting the appropriate solution within budgetary constraints and meeting expectations.
  • Sales support – Provide technical counsel to Confidential's Sales personnel regarding various products and solutions tailored to diverse customer profiles, while also advocating the team's capabilities.
  • Internal cooperation – Optimize and leverage Confidential's investments in Solutions Architects, Services Business Development Managers, and professional services resources for enhanced collaboration and effectiveness.
  • Certification – Achieve and uphold pertinent accreditations in key domains.

Experience needed:

  • Experience in either a channel pre-sales or a hands-on technical consulting/support capacity.
  • Capability to comprehend requirements throughout the entirety of the sales cycle, including understanding the customer's decision-making process and managing vendor requisites for sales finalization.
  • Expertise and preferably relevant accreditations in any of the core technology domains mentioned previously.
  • Any of the below qualification would be beneficial:
  • Server Platforms - Dell EMC, HPE or Cisco required.
  • Enterprise Storage Platforms – Dell EMC, HPE or Cisco required.
  • Enterprise Networking – Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper
