Senior ServiceNow ITSM

Responsibility of Role:

  • Develop across the full stack of Web technologies -JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML and CSS
  • Work in a Scrum-based, Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding
  • understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Ability convert  business concepts into a technical solution.
  • Hands-on architecting and designing solutions through domain models (application, integration, data, etc.) and use cases that describe larger system behaviour and impact of solution.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing
  • Evaluate design alternatives and presenting functional recommendation
  • Experience and comfort partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Experience presenting to large, diverse audiences (routine client meetings, technology showcases, industry events, etc)
  • Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication
  • Performs advanced configurations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports, etc.
  • Stays current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies
  • You will provide best-practices but creative application development expertise to deliver robust solutions to our internal business and technical clients utilizing the ServiceNow platform (among the ITSM - Primary module focus is ServiceNow ITSM Pro Incidents, Service Requests, and Catalogue Items)
  • Provide software coding and customization for all aspects of the platform: i.e. UI form layout and design, client/server scripting, workflows, business rules, proper platform security/administration, data design, custom webservice integrations, by working with product managers and other development team members.

Required qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years working on the ServiceNow platform
  • 5 to 8 years of over all experience
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
  • Service Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
  • ITIL Foundations V3 certification desired
  • Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environment
