Main Purpose of Job |
The primary purpose of the Business Development Executive (BDE) is to support sales engagement activities across the CDW sales organisation with the CDW account owners, cloud business development managers (BDMs) and customers. As context, the cloud services team have a broad portfolio to take to market through our sellers, this is summarised as: · CDW Cloud Platform Services o ServiceWorks (CDWs own brand of IaaS) o Azure o AWS
· Associated professional services and full suite of cloud support (CloudCare) and remote managed services catalogue
· Partner Services (Cloud Community) o Global UCaaS/CCaaS o Cyber Security o Global SD WAN/Connectivity o Global Colocation
The Cloud BDMs are responsible for the sales leadership and management from prospect to contract closure. The primary functions of this role are business development and enablement activity e.g. pipeline generation, sales campaigns; and assisting the management and growth of existing cloud customers. Business development and enablement: proactive business development activities individually performed and alongside sales and marketing for CDW Cloud and Cloud Community portfolios. Typically this will be seller education, email and call out campaigns, incentive launches and management, supporting partners marketing campaigns, using propensity tools and event promotion and fulfilment. Existing cloud customer growth: support customer retention across existing Cloud customers and looking for additional engagement opportunities. Promoting offers, supporting incentives/campaigns, informing customers of new services and generating customer success references. The role will also include supporting the Practice Lead and other team members with reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis to provide insight into the performance across the Cloud Sales team including but not limited to: · CDW sales team performance (wins/losses/contracted & billed revenues & margin), with granularity to individual seller; · Cloud Community partner performance; · Tracking promotional activities and supporting ROI for campaigns;

Key Responsibilities |
· Be responsible for: o Achieving and exceeding performance targets and KPIs o Building a measurable and strong cloud services pipeline o Building strong relationships with the Account Management team and customers o Keeping up to date knowledge of cloud services portfolio (including Public Cloud programmes) which will including certifications o Supporting the Cloud Services management in achieving the cloud services targets.

Knowledge & Experience |
· 1-2 years’ experience working in a sales environment · An existing understanding or desire to learn Cloud Services sales and sales cycles/processes · Experience of working in sales environments and contributing to sales proposals, bid responses and customer meetings · Interpersonal skills (articulate and engaging)
