Business Transformation is establishing enterprise-wide strategic alignment, with a vision to redefine new ways of working by encouraging agility, transparency and ownership to anchor transformation. Through bold and rapid decision-making, governance, and practical knowledge and support, it will do this. With this in mind, Project Delivery will play a pivotal role in challenging the status quo and enabling the successful delivery of transformative initiatives.

We seek an experience Senior Project Manager to join our Transformation Management Office (“TMO”), responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of a wide portfolio of innovative programmes and projects.

Key duties 

In this role, you will:

·       Strategic Leadership: Lead the design, development, and delivery of the ServiceNow programme, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. Collaborate with technology and business leaders and stakeholders to understand their strategic portfolio and business goals and translate those into actionable plans. Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on overall progress and initiates corrective action, as appropriate, to ensure that project deliverables are produced on time and within budget.

·       Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery.

·       Budget Management: Oversee the programme budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective delivery. Monitor and review project financials, costs, operational budgets, staffing, resourcing, and project risks.

·       Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of the programme. Serve as a point of escalation for the projects within the portfolio – resolving individual project escalations and coaching your team on proactive planning, mitigation, and stakeholder management.

·       Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to achieve programme objectives.

·       Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and optimize processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of the ServiceNow programme.

·       Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and successes of the programme.

Knowledge and experience

We are seeking candidates who have:

·       ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow solutions and transforming managed services organisations.

·       Programme Management: At least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale IT programmes, preferably in a similar industry. A track record of successfully bringing structure to large projects as part of broader transformation programmes, within a fast paced and ambitious business context. A history of success delivering end to end projects within a business transformation context. Ideally, you will have an understanding of projects which have significant digital/technology components, ideally in a B2B IT products and services context

·       Stakeholder Management: Experienced in customer and business relationship management and stakeholder management within a matrixed organisational context. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to lead and influence others – able to coach your team and broader business stakeholders in articulating benefits and drivers for transformational initiatives

·       Commercial Acumen: Able to drive and support financial and resource planning and management for portfolio projects

·       Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and integration methodologies.

·       Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Reseller and Managed Services industry and its regulatory and compliance requirements.

·       Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating and managing contracts with external vendors and partners.

·       Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator, ITIL, PMP, Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification, or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner is  desirable

·       Change Management: Experience in leading organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.

·       Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and completeness in all tasks, recognizing the importance of every element in the success of the programme.

·       Integrity: Upholds the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and trustworthiness. Articulate and credible; able to build a reputation as a trusted SME and be seen as a knowledgeable, collaborative business partner
