The Capability Finance Manager is responsible for the financial integrity and analytical support, across the supply side of the UK & International business. Acting as a true partner to the business, you will support the leadership teams in Integrated Technology Solutions, Supply Chain, and Partner Management. The principle focus of this role will be supporting the completion of financial plans, optimising our operational costs, reengineering our processes, and driving productivity. You will support the establishment of Management Information (MI), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and a financial “trading model” which, through regular performance reporting, will facilitate decision making. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, working in an evolving matrix structure, and delivering across an international business. 

 
Responsibilities 

  • Work together with the Head of Capability Finance in UK & International to deliver: 
  • Business partnering across Services, Supply Chain & Partner Management 
  • An internal financial “trading model”; providing appropriate costing units for all our products and services, in an effective process, which supports profitable growth. 
  • Compelling business cases to build our capabilities, propositions, products, and services. 
  • Partnering with functional and business heads to drive effectiveness and efficiency in the supply side of our business, building a sustainable and scalable business model. 
  • Developing MI & KPIs that contribute directly to the direction and results of the business. 
  • Contribute to the effective cultural, business process and systems change programs, whilst also supporting the real time needs of the business. 
  • Line management and responsibility for the recruitment, training, and motivation of coworkers in the team  
  • A key contributor to the finance team, acting as a role model, with a positive, enthusiastic, can-do approach, even under pressure. 

 

Knowledge & Experience 

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA accounting qualification with 3+ years PQE, and 2+ years in a management role 
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to apply them practically to a business. 
  • Business partnering at a senior level, adding real value to both strategic and tactical priorities. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable ability to connect financial and non- financial metrics, with business drivers and actions. 
  • Manging multiple priorities simultaneously, adapting to the changing needs of the business, while at the same time hitting deadlines 
  • Problem solving and identifying process improvements, including appropriate recommendations. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with extensive hands-on experience in Excel.
