As an Accounting Associate you will supporting the multiple teams helping with General posing an reconciliations using Blackline and Navision. 

What you’ll do:

• Understanding, analysing and posting monthly journals in Navision impacting the gross margin and SG&A expenses in the UK & International entities
• Setting up, tracking and facilitating status calls throughout month-end close with UK Corporate Accounting and International Accounting team
• Communicate and liaise with various teams regarding progress/status of month-end close (e.g. reporting team, consolidations team) to be able to plan the MEC process timely
• Perform mid-month P&L reviews of the UK & International entities so issues can be identified and addressed ahead of month-end close
• Preparing blackline recs with main focus being on deferred revenue & cost, receivables, GSNI, goods in transit and others.
• Using prepared blackline recs, to investigate and resolve aged items.
• Perform continuous assessment of monthly close process and implement controls and efficiency gains to improve consistency, timeliness and accuracy of the reported results

What you need to succeed:

• Experience of working in a finance-related role, preferably tax-related
• Experience of working within a large MNC would be beneficial
• Good Excel skills are crucial 

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated with the confidence to interact with senior members of the organisation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to present data in a concise manner and draw conclusions/insights from that data
• Natural curiosity and willingness to find and fix problems
