Sales Support Manager – People and Alignment

Main Purpose of Job:

This leadership role focuses on providing a first-class operational service to the sales division. Typical duties will include:

  • Management of a team of sales supports ensuring all team members understand theirs and CDW’s expectations and deliverables of their roles.
  • Regular travel to CDW UK Locations
  • Identify and manage training and development needs in line with company procedures
  • Monthly Team Meetings
  • Bi-annual appraisals, monthly one-to-ones, training and development plans
  • Regular assessment of individual team members’ performance and act to address conduct/capability issues in line with CDW procedures
  • Develop, grow and maintain professional working relationships with all internal stakeholders and customer equivalents
  • Close collaboration with the New Business and Customer Experience Manager on client on boarding and client escalations
  • Close collaboration with the Sales Operations Manager for Training and Process Management on training schedules and the month end process
  • Collaboration with sales management and team leaders coupled with continuous analysis of sales data to ensure correct levels and alignment of resource
  • Close working relationship with the Complex Deal Manager and other members of the wider operational team on large sales opportunities
  • Close working relationship with sales and the wider operational team to ensure monthly forecasts are correct and targets achieved
  • Manage organisational change within team and department, including changes to procedures with regular communication in a timely manner
  • Continual service review and improvement of all processes and procedures
