Job Title: Reach FLT Picker Packer

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £10.78 per hour

Shift Time:

• Monday to Friday (Sat & Sun Off)
• 08:00 to 16:30
• (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all stock received is correctly labelled and moved to the appropriate location
• Operate the mechanical equipment in line with regulations and policy
• Accurately pick products and report any discrepancies
• Perform quality checks to ensure products and quantities are correct
• Ensure all orders are adequately packaged for transportation
• Report issues on inventory errors or damage to First Line Managers
• Understand and operate hand-held scanners
• Apply regulations regarding storage and product handling

Must-have:

• Reach truck FLT licences
• In line with the business needs, flexibility may be required on working hours
• Established verbal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all partners
• Proven track record of attendance and reliability
• Accurate counting ability
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as weather fluctuates
• Ability to perform eight or more hours of standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping and carrying products in combination at any given time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15kg of force frequently (34-67% of the workday) and up to 25kg of force occasionally (0-33% of the workday)

*This is a temporary to permanent contract position at CDW. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed by a staffing partner and not a coworker of CDW. All interviews will be conducted by the CDW assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, the staffing partner will provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
