Job Title

  • Logistics Administrator

Salary

  • £10.78 per hour

Shift Time

  • 09:00-17:30 (40 hours per week)

Job Summary

  • CDW have a position available for a Logistics Administrator to work with our Logistics team within our distribution centre.
  • You will be the first Logistics Administrator for CDW, bringing work together that’s currently split across multiple co-workers, allowing you the opportunity to improve the internal and external client experience.
  • You will work collaboratively with leadership to identify areas of improvement through investigations with couriers and internal distribution centre teams
  • You will handle queries, escalations, issues and communicate with the relevant stakeholders & CDW partners as required.
  • You will be able to identify reoccurring issues that provide a poor customer experience and report on this to key stakeholders
  • This role is an office based role, however, there may be times you’re called upon to support the physical operation.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Utilisation of in-house systems (NAVision)
  • Resolving issues with in transit shipments
  • Conducting parcel investigations with sales, customers and couriers
  • Managing insurance claims with carriers and CDWs internal insurance partner
  • Working with CDW’s Logistics Partners and internal teams to co-ordinate express parcel deliveries within UK
  • Performing daily function within SLA’s and processes provided
  • Adhering to and adapting to new logistics processes  as and when they are implemented
  • Keeping Sales up to date with progress of all orders through to delivery
  • Taking ownership of problems through to resolution and ensuring proactive approach to problems
  • Completing other tasks as and when assigned
  • Following of on-site HSE & Security Policies
  • Ensure daily routines are followed & to maintain a high level of housekeeping

*This is a temporary contract position at CDW. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed by a staffing partner and not a coworker of CDW. All interviews will be conducted by the CDW assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, the staffing partner will provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
