The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for the compilation and review of financial plans, financial forecasts, and the capital planning process across CDW UK & International. This position is responsible for financial integrity and analytical support across the business and provides senior management and UK exec information, through regular business performance reporting. This Head of FP&A of position provides leadership, direction, and management to the FP&A team, and plays a key role in the UK&I Finance Leadership team.

  • Ensure all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting policies are robust and embedded across the UK&I. Act as a role model, with a positive, enthusiastic, can-do approach, even under pressure.
  • Manage members of the financial planning team and provide leadership, guidance, and development opportunities. Building the teams skill sets, improving business insights, increasing systems functionality, and enhancing interpersonal aptitude.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, and a highly effective working relationship, with the Global FP&A team.
  • Business partner CDW support functions ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Thought leader for the FP&A team, finance, and the business, driving insights and ad hoc projects.
  • Own and optimise business cases, financial KPIs and productivity measure across the business
What You’ll Bring
  • Educated to degree level with an appropriate accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA)
  • 10+ years of Finance/Accounting experience, and +4 years in a management role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, spanning internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to apply them practically to a business.
  • Ability to think at a strategic level as well as follow up and execute in the detail.
  • Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business, while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational skills with a fastidious attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with extensive hands-on experience in Excel.
